Plugins and Connected Agents
When you connect ChatGPT or another AI application to Recoup, we process account and authorization information, tool inputs, and tool results. Depending on the operation you request, this may include music and catalog references, selected files and text, creative briefs, workspace identifiers, research results, and recipient details for communications. We return the requested results to the connected application.
We use this information to authenticate your connection, enforce workspace permissions, carry out your requests, store workspace records and generated outputs, provide support, account for credit usage, and protect the service. A plugin connection does not itself authorize access to another customer's private workspace.
Depending on the requested workflow, information is processed by our hosting and database providers, authentication providers, AI and media generation providers, music and web data providers, and email or publishing services. Information you ask us to send or publish is also shared with its intended recipients or audience. The connected AI application processes information under its own privacy policy.
You can revoke a connection in Recoup's Connected Agents settings. Revocation prevents future use of that connection. It does not erase saved workspace content or results already returned to the connected application. Contact hi@recoupable.dev for help accessing, correcting, exporting, or deleting information.
Data Retention and Deletion
- Account and workspace content: Saved artist and catalog records, files, creative briefs, and generated outputs do not expire when a plugin session ends. They remain stored until removed through available deletion controls or a deletion request is processed. Disconnecting a plugin does not delete the underlying Recoup account.
- Connection authorization: Persistent connection grants remain valid until revoked. MCP access tokens expire after five minutes; token expiration is not deletion of saved content or all authentication records.
- Operational records and backups: Credit accounting, security, support, and service-provider records may remain after content is removed from the active workspace. Backup and log retention varies by provider and record type. We do not currently offer a single fixed maximum deletion period covering all logs and backups. Contact us for the applicable retention and deletion scope for your request.
- Public or permanent publishing: Some tools can publish content publicly, including to permanent storage networks such as Arweave. Content published to a permanent network may remain available indefinitely and cannot be guaranteed removable by Recoup. Copies held by recipients or other applications are subject to their own controls and policies.
To request deletion, email hi@recoupable.dev with the account and content concerned. We may verify account ownership before acting. We aim to respond within 30 days and explain any information that must remain for applicable legal, accounting, or security purposes, or cannot be removed from permanent public storage. This response target is not a guarantee that every downstream copy or backup will be erased within 30 days.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Regular security assessments and updates
- Access controls and authentication procedures
